Spiritual Activities
1) Nitya Puja: Arati to Sri Ramakrishna at 5am, Puja & Evening Aratrikam 5pm every day.

5) Ramakrishna Math with the help of voluntary services offered by kind hearted Doctors / Philanthropist.

6) Conducting classes for Spoken English, Sanskrit & Hindi for students.

7) Tuitions for poor school children.

8) Distribution of school bags and other study material.

9) Providing scholarships to poor and meritorious students under Vivekananda Education Fund.

Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission are worldwide, non-political, non-sectarian spiritual organizations which have been engaged in various forms of humanitarian, social service activities for more than a century.Inspired by the ideals of renunciation and service, the monks and lay devotees of the Math and Mission serve millions of men, women and children, without any distinction of caste, religion or race, because they see the living God in them.
The Ramakrishna Order does not believe in conversion, nor does it indulge in the occult or the sensational. The Order places utmost importance on personal spiritual enfoldment and selfless service. Inspired by the idea of the harmony of all faiths, its centers encourage adherents of different faiths to meet in a spirit of friendship and mutual appreciation, and to learn from one another without having to give up one’s own faith. In the words of Sri Ramakrishna: “God has made different religions to suit different aspirants, lives and countries … all doctrines are only so many paths; but a path is by no means God Himself. Indeed one can reach God if one follows any of the paths with whole-hearted devotion.

রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ এবং রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন বিশ্বব্যাপী, অরাজনৈতিক, অসাম্প্রদায়িক আধ্যাত্মিক সংগঠন যা এক শতাব্দীরও বেশি সময় ধরে বিভিন্ন ধরণের মানবিক, সমাজসেবামূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে নিয়োজিত। ত্যাগ ও সেবার আদর্শে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে, মঠ ও মিশনের সন্ন্যাসী এবং সাধারণ ভক্তরা জাতি, ধর্ম বা বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে লক্ষ লক্ষ পুরুষ, মহিলা এবং শিশুদের সেবা করেন, কারণ তারা তাদের মধ্যে জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরকে দেখতে পান।

এই সংগঠনগুলি অস্তিত্বে এনেছিলেন উনিশ শতকের বাংলার মহান সন্ত শ্রী রামকৃষ্ণ (১৮৩৬-১৮৮৬), যাকে আধুনিক যুগের নবী হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়, এবং শ্রী রামকৃষ্ণের প্রধান শিষ্য স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ (১৮৬৩-১৯০২), যিনি বর্তমান যুগের অন্যতম প্রধান চিন্তাবিদ এবং ধর্মীয় নেতা, যাকে ‘আধুনিক বিশ্বের অন্যতম প্রধান রূপকার’ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়, বিশিষ্ট পাশ্চাত্য পণ্ডিত এ.এল. বাশামের ভাষায়, দ্বারা। যদিও রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ এবং রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন আইনগত এবং আর্থিকভাবে পৃথক, তারা বিভিন্ন দিক থেকে ঘনিষ্ঠভাবে সম্পর্কিত এবং যমজ সংগঠন হিসেবে বিবেচিত।

রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ বা মিশন ধর্মান্তরে বিশ্বাস করে না, এমনকি এটি গুপ্তচরবৃত্তি বা আবেগপ্রবণতায়ও লিপ্ত হয় না। এই ধর্ম ব্যক্তিগত আধ্যাত্মিক পরিপূর্ণতা এবং নিঃস্বার্থ সেবার উপর সর্বাধিক গুরুত্ব দেয়। সকল ধর্মের সম্প্রীতির ধারণায় অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে, এর কেন্দ্রগুলি বিভিন্ন ধর্মের অনুসারীদের বন্ধুত্ব এবং পারস্পরিক উপলব্ধির চেতনায় মিলিত হতে এবং নিজস্ব বিশ্বাস ত্যাগ না করে একে অপরের কাছ থেকে শিখতে উৎসাহিত করে। শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের ভাষায়: “ঈশ্বর বিভিন্ন ধর্মকে বিভিন্ন আকাঙ্ক্ষী, জীবন এবং দেশের জন্য উপযুক্ত করে তৈরি করেছেন… সমস্ত মতবাদ কেবল অনেক পথ; কিন্তু একটি পথ কোনওভাবেই ঈশ্বর নিজেই নন। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, যদি কেউ পূর্ণ হৃদয়ের ভক্তির সাথে যেকোনো পথ অনুসরণ করে তবেই ঈশ্বরের কাছে পৌঁছানো সম্ভব।”
